Oteo Techologies is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.

Emissions Reduction Targets

We have adopted the following carbon reduction targets:

Short-term Target (5 years): We aim to reduce emissions by 15-20%, lowering total emissions to approximately 88-94 tCO2 by 2029. This will be achieved through vehicle transition, promoting remote work, and reducing business travel.

Mid-term Target (10 years): We aim for a 30-40% reduction, bringing emissions down to 66-77 tCO2 by 2034.

Long-term Target (2050): Achieve Net Zero emissions through the full transition to electric vehicles, continued optimization of energy usage, reductions in Scope 3 emissions, and carbon offset initiatives for any remaining emissions.

Carbon Reduction Initiatives

To achieve our targets, we are focusing on the following areas:

Transition to electric vehicles to reduce Scope 1 emissions, with plans to fully transition the vehicle fleet in the coming years.

Optimizing energy usage in the office, with continued reliance on renewable energy sources provided by ODTÜ TEKNOKENT.

Encouraging remote work and minimizing business travel, while using virtual meetings and smaller travel teams to reduce Scope 3 emissions.

Recycling and waste management, including a strict recycling program and e-waste disposal initiatives.

Sustainable IT infrastructure by using energy-efficient cloud and data center solutions for SaaS, PaaS, and on-premise services.

Declaration and Commitment

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been approved by Oteo management team, demonstrating our commitment to reducing emissions at the highest level. We declare that the information and data presented in this plan are accurate and represent our current carbon footprint. This plan will be reviewed and updated annually to reflect our ongoing carbon reduction efforts.

This declaration is made with full knowledge and understanding of the responsibility to reduce carbon emissions and to contribute to achieving  Net Zero goal by 2050. Our plan and future updates will be published on our company’s website to ensure transparency.
